Constructing the Puncheons:

Timber Assembly

Find or buy square timbers, preferably rot resistant, 4"x4" or 6"x6". We used 6"x6"'s to get the needed height.
Cut to desired lengths and stack the layers.
Pin the corners by pre-drilling and hammering re-bar or 12" spikes.
Treat cut ends with preservative.
